How to Book

Ship With Confidence: Our 6-Step Process

At Pacific Freight Link, we handle the heavy lifting so you don't have to. Follow our simple, step-by-step guide to get your goods moving with total peace of mind

Step 1: Get Your Custom Quote

Requesting a quote is the first step toward moving your cargo. You can reach us via:

  • Online: Complete our Get a Free Quote form on our website.

  • Email: Send your shipment details to sales@pacificfreightlink.com.au.

  • Phone: Call our team directly at +61 406 207 442.

Step 2: Secure Your Booking & Paperwork

Once you approve the quote, we will provide your Unique Reference Number and the upcoming vessel/flight schedule.

  • Online SLI: We will provide an Online Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI) for you to complete. This is a mandatory requirement used to generate your House Bill of Lading (HBL) and fulfil Customs regulations.

  • Labelling: Please label every item clearly with your Reference Number to ensure it is tracked correctly.

Step 3: Cargo Handover (Drop-off or Pickup)

We will provide specific instructions for your nearest depot.

  • Sydney Clients: Direct delivery to our main warehouse.

  • Other Regions: We will provide specific directions to our partner hubs. Please follow these instructions strictly to avoid receiving delays.

  • Photos: Please provide photos beforehand.

Step 4: Final Verification & Invoicing

To ensure total accuracy, we weigh and measure your cargo upon arrival at our depot. We then issue an invoice based on these verified dimensions.

  • Payment: Please settle the invoice by the due date to avoid storage fees or shipment holds.

Step 5: Dispatch & Documentation

Once payment is cleared, your shipment is scheduled for departure. We handle the manifest and export paperwork using the details from your SLI, sending you copies before the vessel or flight departs.

Step 6: Updates & Arrival

  • Status Alerts: Receive personal updates via text and email as your cargo moves.

  • Destination: Our local agents will contact the recipient (consignee) at the destination to manage the final delivery leg and local clearances.
